Hi amigos, we all know humans are always fond of mysteries, so this time I have come up with top 3 incomprehensibly lost cities which are completely erased from our globe. These cities are mentioned in many kinds of literature as they are more technically so advanced than off our present age but what happened to these cities? To know what happened to them! Just scroll down the page and don’t forget to share your knowledge.
Kumarikandam.
Kumarikandam is huge sunken landmass, mentioned in the ancient Tamil literature. It is where the world’s first and oldest civilisation formed. It’s said that it was ruled by pandiyan dynasty for 11000 long years. It is where the world’s oldest literature called Sangam literature formed. Then what happened to this continent? Where did the people go? Researchers have predicted that when the continent drifted its people spread across the world and founded various civilisations, hence they claim that the lost continent was also the foundation of human civilisation. According to Indian national Institute oceanography, the sea level was lower by 100 mm about 14,500 years ago and by 60 mm about 10,000 years, the rate of global warming increased between 12,000 and 10,000 years ago, the rising sea levels resulted in periodic flooding. This would have submerged prehistoric settlements that were located around the low-lying coastal areas of India and Sri Lanka. Still, now many researchers are afraid, not willing to do research in Kumarikandam maybe they want to keep the mystery as a secret.
Dwaraka.
It’s an epic mythological city ruled by Lord Krishna himself if you want to know about this city, you must know something about the great Indian heroic story of Mahabharata. According to Hindu mythology, Dwaraka was a city where Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu, once lived. It is believed that Krishna was born in Mathura, just south of Delhi in the modern state of Uttar Pradesh. His uncle, Kansa, was the cruel ruler of this city and was eventually killed by Krishna. Kansa’s father-in-law, who was Jarasandh, the king of Magadha, was furious when he heard of Kansa’s murder, and tried to avenge his death. Although Mathura was attacked 17 times, it did not fall to Jarasandh. Krishna realised that Yadav's can’t withstand another war. So he decided to shift his capital to Dwaraka that it how Dwaraka built. Researchers have found the great city in the sunken water near Gujarat but yet it has to be confirmed. If it’s confirmed many questions like the existence of god, happening of Mahabharata, Ramayana everything will be proved. This city is sunk due to rise in the sea level some say it’s due to the curse of kanthari the mother of kavravas.
