     Monalisa.
 This is a masterpiece in
painters world done by
Leonardo DaVinci. It was
painted between 1503 to 1519 still; it’s the best of all time. This painting is painted as an oil on wood. The original painting size is77 x 53 cm. Monalisa is now hanging on the wall of Louvre museum Paris. What is unique in this portrait?. The truth lies in her smile. Researchers say the smile of lisa differs the way we look at the picture. The secret of this painting comes to life when it passes through UV light. Some say the background of picture changes when we pass the UK light lights into it yet,  it's not officially confirmed by officials in Paris. The eyebrows reveal yet another fascinating thing is we can’t find any eyebrows in monolisa’s painting, latest researchers found that there is a single brush stroke in Lisa's painting on eyebrows which we can’t see with naked eye. It’s one of the most written about and most visited painting in the world. In the 1960s, the painting went on a tour where it was given an insurance valuation of  $100 million!. Monalisa in the Louvre has a room of its own it is protected in a climate controlled environment and encased in bulletproof glass. The room was built exclusively for the painting and it cost the museum over seven million dollars!. I think spending seven million dollars is worth for this portrait thanks to the genius of all time Leonardo Davinci for giving us this magnificent painting.

 School of Athens.

It was painted by Italian painter Raphael in the roof of the Apostolic Palace in Vatican City. This is the official residence of the reigning pope. It was painted in the year 1510 to 1511.what Raphael has painted is the four branches of human knowledge. The philosophy, theology the study of divine knowledge and the other two fresco are the poetry and jurisprudence. The speciality of this painting is it gathers great philosophical leaders of Greek born in a different time. It’s been painted at the time of the Italian Renaissance, where Italians consider the century as a new age of knowledge. Fifteenth-century Italy was unlike any other place in Europe. It was divided into independent city-states, each with a different form of government. Florence, where the Italian Renaissance began, was an independent republic. Wealthy Florentines flaunted their money and power by becoming of artists and intellectuals. In this way, the city became the cultural centre of Europe, and of the Renaissance. The central figures of the painting are Plato, Aristotle with other greater thinkers and philosopher. We can clearly notice the contrasting theories of Aristotle and Plato, by colouring Plato in red dress Raphael represents he is interested in theoretical things which cannot be seen. At the same time by colouring the dress of Aristotle in blue he symbolises he is interested in physical things which we can see and engage. In my point of view, this painting is just shrewdest of all time.

Last supper.

It’s an another marvel done by Leonardo davanci. The last supper was painted in the year 1495 to 1498. It’s been amazing and fascinating paintings ever. The last supper represents Jesus christ last meal with his disciples before he was crucified. The painting looks like after christ told their disciples that it’s going to be his last meal with them and he is going to die soon and one of them going to betray him.Even though it’s been a very famous painting it’s permanent home will be Milan, Italy. Davinci used a special technique to paint the last supper directly on the wall of Santa Maria Delle Grazie. The painting looks like a real life model. We can see Judas in the left holding a silver bag in his hand it clearly shows judas is the person going to betray him.Though the last supper is a world famous painting the convent in which it is located was not built for big crowds. Only 20 to 25 people are allowed in at a time in visiting blocks of 15 minutes. The visitors must book tickets to see The Last Supper at least two months in advance and be sure to dress conservatively, or you may be turned away from the convent.
