Hi friends, we all know our mother earth is unique in the planetary system it provides all the essentials for an organism to live. I have mentioned the word organisms not the word humans. We think human are the superior breed but the truth is no. The way we destroyed our heavenly planet is indigestible. So, here are the top 3 man -made disasters. This post includes past, present and future disasters humans created. Before getting deep into the post remember “if we take care of nature defiantly, it will take care of us”.

Nuclear disasters

One of the major problem earth is facing right now is nuclear disasters before going deep into the concept,  let me ask you some questions,  what is a nuclear power and How is it working?.  Many of us really don’t know the answers, but we felt it’s unsafe and insecure. Yes, I agree it’s really unsafe to have a nuclear power station, but before opposing it, we must know how nuclear power stations are working. Most of the nuclear industries produce heat energy for electricity by heating water in large turbines with the use of radioactive elements like “uranium 235”. The heating will be done by passing one neutron into a uranium atom basically, these uranium atoms are unstable and convert into two separate atoms while separating it will lose some mass that mass is the heat energy. In the same way, separated uranium atoms will release three neutrons each and the process will continue as a chain reaction. There will be safety rod in the each turbine for attracting neutrons to stabilise the heat energy. Most of the nuclear disasters happened because of the safety rods not properly maintained. We all know about Hiroshima, but any of you know how much uranium used in that “big apple” to destroy that city. It’s just 0.91 pounds! Just think how much destruction it has created. Nearly 10 countries have nuclear missiles for their defense. NO one forgot about Chernobyl incident, one of the worst nuclear disasters every happens in the earth, it’s been 30 years since the explosion happened still it is a freaky radiating, abandoned the city. Some say the radiation is so intense and this city will remain like this for the next 200 years. The Fukushima disaster is the second largest disaster happened on the earth. Still, nuclear power is harmful life threatening and so on. In some way, it’s useful too. I will tell why it is important to have nuclear power stations. How long we are going to use our natural resources to get electricity one day there won’t be any coal to burn. At that time nuclear power was the only source of electricity. The only way to reduce nuclear disaster is, recycling of uranium waste and make it has reusable and we must find a way to use solar energy as much as possible.

Industrial disasters

It’s has started along industrial revolution. Industrial disasters are the great threats to the environment as well as to humans. This type of disasters occurs due to pure negligence and unsafely work practice and unsafe situations. The damages these, industries creates are numerous like global warming, emission of carbon monoxide, ozone depletion, so on. The Bhopal DISASTER in India killed nearly 8000 peoples in two weeks and injured more than 500000 people in the nearby village that deadly methyl isocyanate and other chemicals leaking from the pesticide plant of Union Carbide India Ltd in Bhopal on the night of December 2 and 3, 1984 more than 3500 peoples were permanently disabled. The reason behind great tragedy is bit shocking. This disaster occurred due to an utter negligence of the company and incompetence of government employees. From 1942 to 1953  the love canal was contaminated by Hooker Chemical and then sold to a city the peoples are allowed to build homes and school out there but they are happy but their happiness not lasted for long.Soon they begin to realise the effects contamination and left the chemical dumped city. It’s your own choice to decide who’s mistake it is.Industries are built for welfare but I don’t want industries like these to dump our earth.

Loss of biodiversity.

Would you believe me if all the bees in the world are vanished or died, humans can’t endure. We deeply altered our environment. We imagine we are independent but all are hooked on nature all are interconnected. Even a small insect can affect the whole human existence. Bees are the primary source of pollination of plants. The deep water horizon oil spill is one the biggest oil spills in the history nearly 200 million gals of oil pumped into the urine for 87 days, 16000 miles of coastlines have been set up. So many marine organisms have been affected. 11 people have been killed. Deforestation one of major impact earth facing right now most of the forest have been destroyed for settlement purposes and many animals have been killed for their skin. According to 2016 1054 rhino’s has been killed for their trunks. Money. I think it’s time for us to wake up to save our earth or never get a chance to change. Plant more tree a small change will make a big difference.
